CSSC, as you may be aware, is facing some financial challenges, the main one being a reducing membership. Whilst every effort is being made to tackle this issue, and they are beginning to see some positive signs, this directly impacts on the amount of income, and therefore the funds available to allocate to expenditure. This means that they need to demonstrate that every area of business is held accountable for any funds allocated and savings introduced wherever possible. The effect this will have on the National Angling finals is that in order to continue to provide the events in the same format as we do we will have to charge each finalist an entry fee of £50, this will be paid in advance via the CSSC website.
